This was a dramatization of a dream.
I was at a deep forest university Lots of going to class, meeting neighbors, fucking around, andrej was there, I started doing well in school, at one point some scandal almost hit (underage girl threatening to tell cops that guy she crushes on took child porn of her and outs it on his phone with an apk she secretly installs when he's not looking bc they were friends before this), I joined drama dpmt and put on shows.
The forest is a little creepy though. Weird shit starts happening. In one building the lights get fucked up. Someone disappears into the forest. The laboratories are all super high class. Seems like weird govt shit. Someone gets chastised for fighting in a lab, not for fighting, but because it's in the geological division. Lots of self harm accidents. Blindings a lot.
There's also a weird door like tree outside their house.
Then one day main guy, day after he finished exams, day of andrej and neighbor guy and girl's exam (they're brother and sister), they're at a friend's house, small party. Friend is a bit creepy, he's been seen by audience at most of the self harm. He's part cyborg, he starts talking about how they've managed to get a gas in light bulbs to get into an excited state and start getting an electron flow in the shape of the soundwave of nearby voices through electromagnetism, and it's a really weird low energy config that jumps causes it's own magnetic field I.e. it's self propogating. But you can control the intensity. And it resonates to people's soyndwave at the origin and presumed endpoint. Distinct color too. And main guy makes immediate possible application for data transmission and secret voice chat cause it's just passing theough light bulbs. Cyborg seems annoyed. Hostess (some blond bitch) takes out her own laser based on the gas, main character worries about effect of high powered laser with no eye protection, fun fun until she starts pointing it at a reflective object that ends up back at her eyes. She starts burning, but everyone is like Yolo chill cause theyre not been acting normal except for main char and friends. They start freaking oit, cyborg is smiling. Main guy tackles her and her eyes are like burnt out and skin is melting. She says take care, main guy and friends are freaked the fuck out. They dip into their car.
SO they're all driving, and start paasing by all these people on the side of the road looking weird and doing weird shit and asking them to pull over. Main guy tells em to drive on. Then they hit one cause he won't move to the side. It's someone they know from the Institute (it was scott from ib for me) and theyre like wtf mate is this a cult? One of friends (matt?) Wants to pull over and help them, mainy says no they're dangerous. They're blockaded. Mainy says to go around a pickup in the middle of the road, they do, but pick up starts up and rams them. They're in this intense little chase then they have to cross a river, and the river is the same colour as the laser/light resonance color and quick viscous. And their car gets stuck. And another friend they're with goes to push car up an out of weird orange ditch thing. He kinda zones out. Mainy goes outside and sees everything is orange tinted a little... w.e he goes, pushes car up, tries to move friend but he wont budge. They try calling 911 but nothings going through. They start driving, cause cultists start running as theyre picking him up and yell we'll be back. Rift forms bw matt and mainy bc they left him. They see a cell tower get dropped and weird sounds come from the forest. They get back to the house/loft. Matt and mainy fight a bit, matt comes up with an idea to mount a couple lawn mowers around the car, hook up an extended gas tank in the trunk with a crude pump, gascans, and piping, so he can connect the lawnmowers to a car plug and run the engine long enough until they get out. Mainy says it'll never work, the cyborg MUST be involved. He goes out. Matt gets sad and starts playing ps3 while sister watches. Sister says he's being an idiot. They have a discussion and sister's shown to be capable. Horde starts coming from the front.
Mainy went out the back and is now standing in front of the weird tree with markings and holes.
Hole is like

On each side, with large squre jutting and flat surface for most of it. It's only one side of the tree, side facing the facility.
Tree starts talking to mainy. Almost like a person is in the tree. Starts talking about how gods have really been mortals with special connection, resonance, to either the smaller dimensions or dsrk energy or higher power. How they're born sometimes.
This tree is one such being but it cant do much bc it's a tree. The cats and wolves and shit in ancient egyot, same way. Norse gods and polar bears (frost giants), same way. And they've been looking for someone, bennet, they didn't know who it was really, could be any culture, cuz they only have a sound to go on. And mainys name is bennet. And he says so im a god? And tree says could be. You're connected is all. He starts making all these connections that the resonance is a connwction with the energy and the cyborg has discovered this it's what's powering him and he's been experimenting with the populace of the campus. At this moment matt walks by and mainy is zoned out in front of the tree and talking about his theories. He listens a bit, then highfives the "dude in the tree" and continues gathering supplies for his jeep-o-death. Sister has been holding horde off at a choke point valiantly. As she does slow motion chops she's seeing their eyes have a super orange glow, same as laser, she flashbacks, etc, she thinks oh shit they're a cult of that weird energy thing and did some stupid voodoo shit.
As matt is setting up he thinks of how the govt labs are all wwird and they wheel out bodies what if the energy mainy was talking about was true, they did wheel out body bags a lot (called em cadavers, but what if...) and thinks the govt swt up some super energy infusion super human program and the failed subjects were dumped and they rise up like zombies and shit.
Sister runs to the roof with huge supply of ammo, killing more horde at chokepoint. Yells to matt go get help, go get the army, fbi, somebody. Matt tearfully leaves. As he's leaving mainy opens eyes, his eyes are orange. But he's super focused. He runs into the forest with some epic jump in the trees.
